Start thinking about getting your

dryer vent inspected

Chimney inspections and cleaning, if necessary, are required every year.

Dryer vent inspection and cleaning is mandatory every two years, and this is the year you need to comply.

On such occasions, we recommend calling All-American Chimney Service at 973-927-3899 or 800-400-0174 to make an appointment for either service to be undertaken.

Homeowners can also elect to use another service of their choice, but must remember to submit the inspection report to Wilkin Management by the due date.

Annual Picnic - August 8

Mark your calendar, our yearly picnic will be held at the pool on Saturday, August 8 (rain date, Sunday, August 9). This is a fun packed day. We provide the food, soft drinks, beer, wine and disco music. You bring along a desert, a towel and sun screen! The fun begins at 11:00 a.m..

Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success.

Annual Garage Sale

Our annual garage sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 (rain date the following day).

Even though permits are no longer required by Jefferson Township for garage sales, your board has decided that this is your once a year opportunity to clean-out the garage. No other garage sales will be allowed within the complex.

To help drive traffic to the September 19 event, an advertisement will purchased in the AIM newspaper, and signs placed on Berkshire Valley and Ridge Roads.

Satellite Dish Installation Policy

For those members considering switching from cable to satellite be aware that the Association has strict rules regarding the installation of satellite dishes. The policy is pretty simple - the dish can go on your deck if the signal is available there.  If not you can only attach it to the side of the chimney as an alternative.  The dish company usually has to visit your unit to make a determination of the location of the dish, and then is required to seek the approval the Association before installation can occur.

Slow Down!

A reminder that the speed limit on all roads within Berkshire Ridge is 15 mph. We have had several near misses of late because of speeding.

Garbage - Are you Compliant?

Our by-laws state that garbage should be put curbside the morning of collection (Tuesday and Friday), and in a garbage can. For the majority of residents this is not the case. Plastic bags full of garbage are left curbside the night before collection and are often raided by bears and other wildlife, creating a mess and also revealing who is not recycling! Be reminded that recycling is the law in New Jersey.  Recycling pick-up dates are notated on this web site (see details of collection dates left of this page).  Finally, be a good neighbor. If you see an empty garbage can being blown around the community, do something about it. Also, pick up trash. This is NOT a country club. We are all responsible for the well-being of Berkshire Ridge.
